Fastbats C fail in the Final of the Keighley Naylor Cup.
It was a clean sweep for Bob Underwood’s Haworth Hawks C Team as they easily beat Eddie, Patrick and Nic in the final of the Naylor Cup held at Ben Rhydding to win both Keighley cups. The Naylor Cup and the Boothman Plate.
Fastbats C knocked out Fastbats F in the semi final which indicated the substantial progess made by the clubs bottom side which includes Jo Chris and Emmott.
Fastbats are Keighley League Champions.
It needed a comprehensive victory by the B team over second placed Nemesis to secure the title . This came emphatically emphasising the merit of having two first division sides unlike any other club.
Congratulations to The A Team members Graham, Michael, Martyn, Fraser, Steve and Mark all of whom posted high win averages to gain the first ever Fastbats Keighley Title.

Club Enters Womens British League

Third and Second Divisions Wins in Keighley
Fastbats C and Fastbats E both won their respective divisions .
Congratulations to them .
Fastbats E were defeated in the semi final of the Boothman Plate by The All Stars and were controversially excluded from the semi final of the Naylor Trophy semi final . A protest was made regarding the involvement of the league secretary in this matter at a time when her team remained in the competition. This led to several resignations on the Keighley League Committee including the League Secretary.
